Sinds kort zijn de afbraakwerken van het oude OCMW rusthuis en de bijhorende woningen in de Rusthuislaan gestart. De gebouwen van het rusthuis dateerden van in het begin van de jaren 1950. De kleine woningen in de Rusthuislaan van in de jaren 1960. Allen moeten ze plaats maken voor nieuwe seniorenflats.<\/p>\n
