De tunnel zorgt voor een vlottere doorstroming. De brug over het kanaal gaat gemiddeld 23 keer per dag open. Vier jaar na aanvang\u00a0zijn de werken volledig klaar. Zaterdag 23 mei 2015 wordt de tunnel opengesteld voor het verkeer. Vandaag was de tunnel open voor het grote publiek.<\/p>\n<p>Door de grote opkomst ontstond er een lange rij wachtenden.
