Zaterdagmiddag rond 14 uur kwam Sinterklaas aan in de jachthaven te Zelzate. Maar liefst 3 boten met zwarte pieten meerden aan. Aangemoedigd door meer dan vierhonderd kinderen ging het per koets richting de Grote Markt. De middag werd afgesloten in het gemeentehuis. In de trouwzaal kon elk kind een cadeautje afhalen bij de Sint. Ook de plaatselijke middenstand deelde veel lekkers uit.<\/p>\n
