Ook de aansluiting met de R4 richting Gent is afgewerkt. De oprit van de R4 vanop de E34 wordt binnenkort gegoten. Ter hoogte van de 2de fietstunnel is de bovenkant klaargemaakt om de eerste betonlagen aan te leggen.
