Er is nu geen niveauverschil meer, zodat nu snel de toplaag kan worden aangelegd. De 2de fietstunnel is ook volledig klaar. Ook de verstevigingen aan de buitenkant zijn reeds aangelegd. De rijbaan is tot aan het kruispunt met Arcelor Mittal vernieuwd. Enkel het laatste stuk wacht nog op een toplaag.
