Donderdag 16 juni 2011 vond er opnieuw een oefening plaats voor brandweer Zelzate en brandweer Zuiddorpe\u00a0(Nederland). In de Molenwegel (vlakbij het nieuwe op- en afrittencomplex van de E34) in Moerbeke werd een ongeval met verschillende geknelde personen nagebootst. Door deze oefening kunnen beide korpsen later beter samenwerken op echte interventies. Enkele weken geleden werd het startsein gegeven voor de samenwerking. De Nederlandse brandweer wordt nu ook opgeroepen voor interventies op Belgisch grondgebied, omdat zij enkele minuten sneller ter plaatse kunnen zijn dan brandweer Zelzate. De slachtoffers op de foto’s zijn uiteraard figuranten.<\/p>\n
