Een wagen die vanuit de richting Moerbeke kwam knalde op een geparkeerd voertuig. Door de klap kwam het aanrijdend voertuig op zijn dak terecht. De bestuurster werd door de Zelzaatse brandweer bevrijd. Ze werd zwaargewond onder MUG begeleiding overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis, naar verluidt had de vrouw gedronken. Beide voertuigen werden getakeld.
