Rond de middag gebeurde er een ongeval met een vrachtwagen, net voor het kruispunt in de richting van Knokke (zie foto). De vrachtwagen ramde de middenberm en ging in de schaar. De brandweer van Assenede kwam ter plaatse om de rijweg op te ruimen. De weg was gedurende 2 uur volledig afgesloten. Iets na 15uur gebeurde er een aanrijding tussen 2 vrachtwagens in de richting van Antwerpen, \u00e9\u00e9n persoon werd onder MUG-begeleiding afgevoerd. Een uur later gebeurde er in de richting van Knokke opnieuw een ongeval, ook hier viel \u00e9\u00e9n gewonde. Geen van de gewonden verkeerde in levensgevaar.
