Ter hoogte van de aansluiting met de N243 (Traktaatweg in Nederland) knalde een bestuurder tegen een verlichtingspaal in de middenberm. De bestuurder zat bijna een uur gekneld in zijn verhakkelde voertuig. De Zelzaatse brandweer bevrijde de persoon. Er kwam ook een MUG-team uit Gent ter plaatse. Het slachtoffer is met zware verwondingen afgevoerd naar het ziekenhuis in Gent. De rijbaan was een tijdlang afgesloten.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE: Het slachtoffer is &#8217;s avonds overleden in het ziekenhuis.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style>\n\t\t\t#gallery-2 {\n\t\t\t\tmargin:
