Ter hoogte van het provinciaal domein Puyenbroek botste 2 wagens frontaal. Door de klap was de rijbaan een tijd lang afgesloten. Er vielen geen wonden. De brandweer van Zelzate kwam ter plaatse om de rijbaan te reinigen. De politie zorgde voor een lokale omleiding. Rond 13uur was de rijbaan opnieuw vrij.
