De brandweer is massaal ter plaatse. Er werd afgefakkeld, de vlammen daarvan waren in de wijde omtrekt goed te zien. Door een spanningsuitval op het hoofdelektriciteitsnet, ontstond er brand in de cokesfabriek. Er zijn geen slachtoffers in de cokesfabriek. Bij evacuatie van hoogoven B viel een man van de trap.<\/p>\n<p>De rook waait in noordelijke richting. De brandweer vraagt om ramen en deuren gesloten te houden en de ventilatie uit te schakelen.
